Problem:

Standard switch plates which came with programmable switches were ordinary plastic.

Solution:

Steve re-created the functionality of the original plastic switch plates in machined solid bronze.

Each button is illuminated. Steve designed and executed a completely hidden fastening system which still worked with the std switch boxes.

Once patina'd these became a luscious dark brown.
